How do you see yourself evolving as an "athlete-turned-entrepreneur? Ten years ago,the thought of a professional gamer would have been absurd.

and i have been using a staff I
I reently resped elemental and i have been using a staff. I do see many elemanetal shamans using a shield though. Is the armor from the shield really better than the intellet from the staff?
Ah, I respced elemental at lvl 58, so iould be prepared for end-game healing ( i have my spell damage set and the nmy healing set) But that is rather OT. For your question, I DO suggest going with a 1h and shield. Keep in mind that I am only lvl 61. I ran into outlands with my staff (Soulkeeper, whh i found was useless almost bause the major +spirit did almost nothing for me) whh was qukly repled by a quest reward shield and a dagger drop (of the elder with a +spell dmg and healing on it as well). The extra armor I have found is invaluable, as stated above. While running ramparts I found that when my heals took aggro off our joke of a tank Iould stand my own and keep kitingdps. However, I was main healer of this group and our tank failed to realize i needed help even after spamming a mro of mine. The hunter layed a freezing trap and all was well again haha. But definitely a 1h and shield imho. --Toro
Dw vs 2h boils down to personal preferee. Duel wield will seem very responsive if you like to "h" the oponents health down one hit at a time this is the way to go. a two hander wil be less responsive. slow big hits are what your goin for here. a big wfould probly do about 80% of a mobs health. Duel wield is definitly the best for groups. more hits means morehaes for unleashed rage to pr and more mana regen. from shamanast rage (when the timeomes). a two hander fails inomparaison in groups. ur will pr alot less you will get mh less mana sr. big wf prs willause spike aggro and piss off the tank. In pvp a twohander will own. wah a mage rooperate after they get hit with a wf. the only time i feel this wouldhange is if you know your going against a high armorlass like a prot war or pally. then duel flametongue is great. but 2h would still work fine
