How do you see yourself evolving as an "athlete-turned-entrepreneur? Ten years ago,the thought of a professional gamer would have been absurd.

fight for agro during boss fights That way
Should be fine. Our MT always tells me to fight for agro during boss fights. That way the boss swaps bk and forth from 2 tanks instead of fusing all his attks at one. Funny thing is, I think I was unintentually doing just that. I would hold up for a bit and auto-attk and then go right bk at it. I was so eited to be there and I wanted to bring my A-game. When I do my usual tanking I operate around a 600-650 TPS, last night I was sustaining between 750-800 TPS. The globalooldown was always on.
the role of an OT in our guild is to; 1; Be sondary tank. Thisan be many things. But usually this means, if you have multle mobs to tank during a pull (trash pulls, bosses with adds, e...) you tank one of the mobs. But usually we let the MT tank the biggest badest, it's was an ego thing for some. 2; Be able to DPS. This means youan put on DPS gear, and stay below the tanks threat on the meters. Many boss fights or pulls don't require more than one tank. And asking your healers to swih healing targets is asking a bit mh. They should all fus on healing the MT during these fights. The MT will require that kind of fused healing, for the most part. This ofourse is nullvoid if your raid is severely overgeared for kara. 3; Take all the sh*t that gets assosiated with DPS and Tanking. "Oh the DPS didn't do this right" -OR- "The tankan't TPS!". I prefer OT to the MT job, it's more dynam and fun. But I ended up being MT due to me being in the right ples at the right times. I got the right drops. So, with that in mind, youan probably sp ... DPS and still be a viable OT for kara. You'll still need 485+ defense for lvl 72 trash pulls and 480+ defense for level 71 trash. So keep in mind that even though you don't sp into prot for DPS, you wont be getting that 20 extra defense skill ranks. I spifally spced for Kara OT for a few months. You don't have ...ruelty. Please. 5%rit is a godsend for tanking. That way youan put on more defensestablkvalue gear instead of DPS gear. You don't need Imp Defensive stae, that ability is way too weak at the Kara level mobs. You have a MT build. OT buildould look something like; 2h Blood FrenzySlam Build, Duel Wield, Weird Duel Wield Prot Hybrids... But you definitely do not need to be fully spced prot to OT in Kara.
