Show me the math. I know it's intuitive given what we know about +hit rating, but there is the simple ft that by inding 1 more miss per 100 youan double the pr rate on the eye means you'll need more than justonjture to prove your point.
I'd be truely surprised by dreasing your hit enough that you get 1 resist every 1-2minutes will reallyause a net dps irease oe you look at the shear bonus given by it to the rest of your spells... though thinking about it that might be true.. personnaly I'm finding getting 202 hit rating very hard without loosing the other required stats for a destrtion build. so for now mag's eye would be a ne improvement ^^

In general, Eye of Mag with 12% is equal to +70-80dmg, while 12% hit in itself is basally -70 to -80dmg. As the author points out, a player will be able to make better use of prs and stuff than a simulation, but still... that's showing going from 16% hit to 12% hit and then putting on Eye of Mag basally does nothing for you DPS, while staying at 16% and getting Eye of Mag is about +60dmg.
